Hi, I'm Amy.

As the daughter of a librarian, books were a crucial part of my childhood. I moved to New York City to study theater and while that didn't quite work out as I'd planned, it's been a dream to be creative and write stories for a living!

I have an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School, and my debut young adult fantasy novel, The Jewel, became a New York Times and international bestseller. I'm also a freelance editor, so if you have a book that needs a professional polish, head to my Editorial Services page!

I still live in NYC, with my fiancé, our two rescue dogs, and far too many books than I have shelf space for.
